We are hiring!

Welcome to the Winden lab! We are looking for talented researchers to join our team. Specifically, we are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study non-cell-autonomous mechanisms of dysfunction in focal cortical dysplasia. This project would entail examining signaling mechanisms between neuroprogenitors with biallelic variants in TSC2 and heterozygous cells, as well as exploring the downstream pathways that are disturbed. We are seeking candidates with experience with iPSCs and neuronal differentiation protocols in both 2D and 3D, as well as familiarity with molecular biology and live cell imaging. Collegiality, commitment to mentoring, and enthusiasm about science are the most important characteristics an applicant can have.

We are also looking for a research assistant to work with a postdoctoral fellow on epigenetic dysregulation in TSC. Ideal candidates should have experience with mammalian cell culture and sterile technique, as well as a positive attitude and desire to learn.
